Most of you also know what a wonderful husband Ron is. I am so blessed. Ron came home from work and took me out for a couple hours before he had to leave for bowling. He knows how emotional this time is for me and he is being so supportive. We decided that since we're having such a beautiful spring afternoon and we're so close to our 200th cache that this was the perfect time to head out and reach that milestone. We did it! We started geocaching last June with our friends Wendy, Larry, and Hannah, and have loved it ever since. YEA #200!!! Is it fair to set a goal for #250 in China?
This is #199 - CREATIVE HIDE! The hint was, "two's common, three's a cache." There were only two spikes on the other side of the bridge. Ron gets credit for this one.
Here it is - #200! Just for the record, I found this one first. ;)
So, you can see what a beautiful afternoon we had today. Perfect sweatshirt and jeans weather. What is this rumor I'm hearing now abou 3-5 inches of snow for tomorrow? I thought we were done with that.

I'm glad you let go of the laptop and went outside today:)
You've been in my thoughts so I thought I'd check your blog. I was sorry to read that your referral was not to be yet. You're overdue for some good news.
Before you know it you will be looking into your child's eyes. Your heart will explode with gladness and a sense of completeness. All of the agony of "the wait" will fade and you will feel a sense of peace and happiness like no other.
Hang in there Heuts it's going to get better in a big hurry.

Yay 200!!! Congratulations. Thanks again for taking Kaitlyn out yesterday. She had a BLAST. And, yes, you're right. She's very good at keeping everyone on task. After all, she's an expert (on everything). Just ask her. By the way, this morning she told me she had a dream about a really happy lady bug. For what that's worth...
I know it doesn't just "seem" like you've been waiting forever, you HAVE been waiting forever. But that will all be a blur when you get to wrap your arms around the amazing child that God has chosen for you.
Let me know if you need to get out of the house this week.
Kaitlyn wants to know if #200 was the treasure that you couldn't get to yesterday, because it was across the river.
Hey Guys...
Good idea to get out of the house for a little while. I'm curious, too, to know if #200 was the one we didn't find on Sunday.
By the way...we had an exciting night last night. Mary Ellen called me at church just before the Ed. meeting was starting and said I'd probably want to make it a quick meeting because Hope was getting sick. Temp of 104! So I hurried through the meeting, got her home, got into a cool tub to get the temp down, gave her a bottle and went to sleep. She puked on me TWICE last night. GROSS!! So we had a total of THREE baths last night. The good news is that today she's 100% already. I think she's cutting her 2 year molars.
I'll keep checking the blog. I'll be at church tomorrow (Wed) if you want to go for coffee or lunch or something.
Love,
Mel
Hey Ron and Beth,
Just thought I'd check to see the news...I've been thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed for the plane from China to arrive.
We were also geocaching Monday...we still have a long way to go to get to 200 but we are up for the challenge!
I know it's getting close for you, I can feel it!

Hi Beth...Kari Benoy forwarded your blog to me.
I was so happy to hear that your time is almost here. I know that every minute feels like forever, but once that little baby of yours is home the wait WILL be far worth it. God just has a special plan for you and your husband and the child that will soon be your referral is His plan:) When we lost our first referral I couldn't have been anymore devasted. Family and friends kept saying that there must be another little girl out there that is supposed to be ours. I had a hard time believing that with my (our)broken heart(s). But guess what? They were all right!! We couldn't imagine life without our sweet Bella.
Again, I am so excited about what will SOON take place in your lives!! I will continue to pray for you all. My stomach does flips just thinking about what is to come for you and your husband. Our pick-up trip is one of the MOST unbelievable experiences of our lives.

P.S. What is geocaching????
