Travel Date
Wow, things are really starting to move fast now. Today I received a phone call from our social worker and found out that we will be in China in three weeks. Our appointment in Guangzhou is on June 12th, this is the day that we finalize having Hope join our family through adoption. That is just one day before Hope's first birthday. I smile all day. We need to be in Beijing by May 30th. That is this month! We really have a lot to do now. Gotta run, the lawn mower fuel tank is cracked and we are going to meet the Kern family for dinner (remember baby Lucy?). Bye.

This is it! We love you and send all our best wishes for your travel. We have been focussed on you, Ron and Beth, in this amzaing process and journey, as you have referred to it. Suddenly we are struck with what this means for Hope; and, that she is unaware, with a childlike faith. In just over a month she will begin her incredible new life. May God bless "her journey". We will wait, with eager anticipation, for our chance to meet her. In the meantime we will savor your joy as you graciously share it with us. With all our love, Dave and Colleen.
Oh yeah, yeah, YEAH!!! I'm so excited for you guys. Your time has come. You've been faithfully patient. Now we can truly celebrate tomorrow night at supper! Can't wait! See you tonight at church.
