Welcome to our family website.

This blog, which began as a therapeutic outlet during the wait for our daughter's arrival, morphed into a place to share feelings, ask for support, and flip through a virtual 'brag book' of photos. NOW, as we embark on our second adoption trek, please join us as we plan, pray, and travel again to the other side of the world to be united with the next piece of our family puzzle.

Such A Big Girl!

For those who are anxious to see, here are a couple of quick videos we caught this morning. Hope wants so badly to walk, but we wouldn't mind at all if she continued to crawl for the most part, at least for a while. She can push the little walking toy like nobody's business. It is so cute to watch her little hips wiggle. I think she's a born shopper. She could sure push a cart. :)

AND - without further ado, here she is...ON HER OWN! This is the most walking Hope's done. She hasn't taken but a couple of steps since I first posted about it. I guess this morning she was just ready. Now, everybody take a deep breath, and no more pushing, encouraging, coaxing, bribing, suggesting, or using any other crazy tactics to get our little girl to walk. :) For now, she's just our baby.

Ava was wondering if Hope knows how to walk to her Daddy :) We watched her walking video about 10 times this morning before I finally had to tell the girls that we could watch again tomorrow!

Good to see that you are doing well!

Beth,

She is sooo cute! How amazing it is to see how strong these little ones get so quickly.

Sounds like she will take off any minute and toddle about :). I love how you said, "she is just our baby for now" :)!

At last!!!!!!! :)

Such a honey! Looks like you guys are becoming the family you always wanted to be! Hope you're getting enough alone time with Hope, but looking forward to seeing you on the 17th. If not, holler next time you're in Woodbury running errands, I'll meet you for lunch or something!

How cute that she wiggles when she walks with her walker! So close to walking on her own now...I don't want Olivia to walk yet...I've only had her for almost 6 weeks! Great videos :)
