This is a photo of one of Hope's duties last week. All the wood needed to be moved across the yard and stacked under the tarp before the snowfall. She seemed to have a great time in spite of a scratched up lip from tripping and landing with her face on the piece she was carrying at the moment. She looked pretty tough when I got there to pick her up after work, but it didn't seem to phase her a whole lot. You can see the scrape in some of the photos. It has healed nicely. (Rest easy Grandma.)
What in the world is this stuff??? Hope's first snow:
So, if we're going to have snow, we must have boots. ;) We thought it best to try them on in the house and practice walking. They are a little big, but she'll get the hang of it I think. She sure was having a good time with them. She certainly didn't want them off when it was time for p.j.'s and bed. You'll of course notice the purse. This girl loves to accessorize. We picked up that purse at a garage sale this summer and she plays with it every day. Gotta love the favorite toys that cost a quarter! ;)
I went in one night this week to check on Hope like I always do before I go to bed. This is what I found. Isn't she sweet?
Here is our Sunday football fan. GO PACK GO!!! I won't say too much about last week's game since I know I have many MN fan friends who read this blog. I'll just mention that it was a pretty glorious game. I'd say we Packer fans were due for a season like this against the Vikes. K...I'm done. ;)
We went out with the tripod and took some family photos a couple weekends ago. You can see the trees still had leaves. It was a gorgeous evening and we had so much fun. Here are a few of the smiles we captured.
We'd like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We will be out of blogging commission for the week (I think?) so we'll just say now that we feel so blessed to call you our family and friends. And, especially this year, we are thankful for our beautiful little girl. She is incredible. Have a fantastic time recounting your blessings next week. We're wishing you quiet moments of wonder, sweet family memories, and many many more years of thankfulness to come.
God bless ~ Beth, Ron, & Hope

Snow? Eeek! We don't have any of that.....yet. It's 28 degrees though as I type this at 9 a.m.
LOVE the little Packer fan! Woo hoo! 8-1! Maybe you don't want to offend your MN friends so I'll do it - THE PACKERS SHUT OUT THE VIKINGS!!!! Most awesome! Go Pack Go!

Happy first Thanksgiving together! Hope is beautiful. What a wonderful smile. I'm also so very sorry to have read about your friend.
Oh look a the cute cheerleader! Olivia has a UofM cheerleader outfit but its too big. We'll have to get her a Vikings 1 so her & Hope can duke it out :)
Beth,
Hope is deliciously darling! Oh how cute she is. Rememeber last year at this time we all wondered when we hold our daughters for a holiday? Happy Thanksgiving :)!
Love the Thanksgiving pics, especially the one of the adorable Miss Hope in her little Packers outfit!! The last black & white photo looks really artsy too!

ps... too bad about the Pack last nite, especially poor Brett's elbow and shoulder!!! I would have loved to have seen our team win, but then again I was expecting lousy refereeing, like we always get when we play at Dallas. (This will be my one sour-grapes moment of the day, hee hee.)
BEAUTIFUL family pictures! Hope is such a sweetie pie! Take care... Lisa Swenson (fellow terper!)
Thanks for your comments :) Olivia didn't want to come back inside. Her nose was getting red, so I thought she better go back inside...she was very unhappy about that! When she sees the snow she says "oooohhhh". Our tropical babies aren't used to this stuff!
