Welcome to our family website.

This blog, which began as a therapeutic outlet during the wait for our daughter's arrival, morphed into a place to share feelings, ask for support, and flip through a virtual 'brag book' of photos. NOW, as we embark on our second adoption trek, please join us as we plan, pray, and travel again to the other side of the world to be united with the next piece of our family puzzle.

Peace & Blessings...Beth & Ron (and Hope too)

Big Girl

Where has our little girl gone? The following videos were taken at the park down the road from our home. Hope is doing incredible things these days.
We say: "Are you a turkey?"
Hope's answer: "No, I'm a monkey."

At the end of this one Hope sees another family walking up to the park. "KIDS!" She was so excited to meet a new friend.

"Don't get me Daddy!"

On another 'big girl' note, we've had POOPIES IN THE POTTY for 7 days straight now! Saturday to Saturday!!! We're so excited! Now, if we could just get her to more regularly tell us when she needs to go to the bathroom we'll be set. It is sort of funny though, when we're out and about she gets really curious and has to go with each new stop. So, currently in the fluctuation that is toddler potty training, we're doing pretty well.

Yay! 7 days straight sounds like a good start towards potty training. They just grow up so fast!

She's so pretty! Great progress on the potty training, wow. Lindsey didn't train until the day after she turned 3 (but then she was fully trained, day and night, in less than a week). Allison will be 3 in less than 2 weeks and she is not trained and I don't forsee it for awhile yet. You're lucky!

Funny! Love the sliding video! Olivia's still afraid to go down those kind of slides. But I bet if she saw Hope do it, she would do it too!

Hope, could you please have a chat with LC about potty training? She loves to sit on the potty but has yet to do anything. You're such a big girl now. Maybe you have a few pointers?
